St. Senan’s Hospital, Enniscorthy

The collection of St. Senan’s Hospital or Enniscorthy District Lunatic Asylum as it was initially known, represents a fine body of psychiatric archival material. Records include minutes of the committee of management, report books of the visiting committee, registers of patients, clinical case notes, medical journals and material relating to nursing, financial and hospital administration.
For anyone wishing to access this collection, prior permission must be obtained from the Hospital Manager of Waterford/Wexford Mental Health Services, St. Senan’s Hospital, Enniscorthy. Access restrictions will apply.
